Personal Statement :

I especially enjoy working with couples who find themselves at critical crossroads in their relationship and who are committed to working through difficult issues before making life-changing decisions. Putting so much of one's self into a partnership only to give up on the future can be devastating and counseling can bring new hope, new perspectives and new life to what feels like dead-end relationships. I have often witnessed the hopelessness and loneliness that comes with intimacy and communication problems and have also seen that hopelessness renew into an evolved sense of compassion and a deeper more mature relationship.
Although not all couples are meant to be together it is certainly a worthwhile journey in finding out. Additionally, I possess a wide range of experience in treating depression, anxiety, sexual abuse and childhood trauma.
My personal philosophy on most disorders is that all life's pains contain messages and we need to give these messages our dedicated time and focus in which to heal. "
